The temperature has dropped a few degrees, but mostly so has the humidity. The weather is crisp, sometimes cloudy and locals state-wide are enjoying this Florida autumn. Normally it's hotter so we'll take it!  

This month we present events in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tequesta and Orlando.

Cultural Festival

CULTURE FEST, Nov 4, Downtown Miami (FREE)

GOLDEN GIRLS POP UP KITCHEN, Nov 10- Dec 31

This themed pop up kitchen opens this weekend in Wynwood (Miami). Immerse in the world of the Golden Girls. Pull up a chair for Sophia's lasagna, get a snapshot in Blanche's boudoir, or pretend to talk on the yellow kitchen phone.  All with rattan furniture, palm leaves wallpaper and other mementos.

TEQUESTA CHILI COOK OFF & BEER TASTING, Nov 11, Tequesta

Join the 12th annual celebration. This year they are honoring Veterans in grand style! Live music, military fly-overs, pipes and drums, raffles and prizes, an awards ceremony honoring our Veterans and Gold Star Families, and 32 teams from public safety, the military and the private sector competing for the best chili judged by celebrity judges! This is a clear bag, 21 and older event that you don't want to miss! 100% of the proceeds benefit five local veteran's charities: Southeast Florida Honor Flight, Warriors Renewal Coalition, Operation 300, Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and Tequesta Friends of Public Safety.

DRONE SHOW EXTRAVAGANZA, Nov 11, Pompano Beach (FREE)

This year's Drone Show Extravaganza will debut not one, but TWO bigger, more spectacular shows! This year's theme will be patriotic, in honor of Veteran's Day, with a South Florida flair.
All eyes will be over the ocean, just south of the Pier, as Firefly Drone Shows will light up the skies with a dramatically choreographed presentation of 300 brightly lit drones coordinated by world-class artists and engineers.
⚪ 5:30pm Entertainment begins
⚪ 7pm: Drone Show #1 with entertainment to follow
⚪ 9pm: Drone Show #2 with entertainment to follow
*Both shows will be the same and will last around 12-15 minutes each.



EDC ORLANDO, Nov 10-13

The Electric Daisy Carnival is an oversized playground where people gather to celebrate life, love, music and art under an electric sky. 



Where art is a union of technology and nature; rides are both relaxing and exhilarating; Music is electrifying by performers in the most colorful and creative costumes. 

EDC is an imagination of maximum visual and audio senses.

PANTHER RIDGE TWILIGHT HOURS, Nov 18, 6pm-9pm; Loxahatchee

We know you'll fall in love with Mateo, a ruggedly handsome jaguar, and Meeka a Florida Panther and cool cubs and other cats at the Panther Ridge Conservation Center. In the intimate hours of dusk, come meet and learn about these exotic cats, where they come from, how they came to be rescued, and their powerful skills and fascinating behavior.
