Oh how I love springtime especially April. Many wonderful smaller- scale, family -friendly, and low cost events. However, many events happening on the same weekend! Decisions, decisions. 

APRIL 21, WILDFLOWER BOUQUET WORKSHOP by JO MALONE (Downtown)
If you love flowers, and accessorizing your gift boxes, discover a workshop guided by Jo Malone London stylists. Create a wildflower bouquet in-store to complement the perfect present.

APRIL 14 & 28, RACING LOUNGE HAPPY HOUR, 6-9pm
Get ready for the race. Join us for a complimentary Jack Daniel's cocktail while checking out custom-branded racing helmets designed by local artist, SURGE.

APRIL 15-16 MIAMI DADE COUNTRY FEST
From city life to country life we present the Miami Dade Country Fest. Now in its fifth year, these two days are filled with nonstop rodeo action, entertainment, food, and kid's activities.

Witness the exhilarating world of horse and bull riding featuring talented riders and magnificent horses. Enjoy heart pumping competitions and daring stunts. During the cattle exhibition, admire breeds from around the world and speak to experts about techniques for raising cattle. At the Farmville children and animal lovers of all ages can interact, pet and feed friendly animals. There is also a Rides & Kids zone for children to burn off energy and make new friends and get their fill of thrill. 

A vendor market, entertainment, food trucks and VIP Saloon round out this country affair.

Tickets may be purchased at the festival for the kid's rides.  For VIP Saloon with open bar, tickets are $75 per person.


APRIL 14-16 THE LONGINES GLOBAL CHAMPIONS TOUR
On the other spectrum of horsemanship is the elegant, most dynamic equestrian sports series. Held in Miami Beach, this event was originally scheduled for April 11 -15 but due to heavy rains all week, the new schedule is April 14-16.  For tickets visit. GC Global Champions



It's also Earth Day April 22, but on the weekend prior,  if you have children this Friday and Saturday Brickell City Center and Fost Museum have just the event.




APRIL 21 (Friday), 3pm, RECYCLED ART at Brickell City Centre (Downtown Miami)
Bring your little ones for an interactive workshop where they will explore different recycled materials and learn how to transform everyday items into works of art.

APRIL 22, 10am, for ages 3-5 only, SEEDLING PLANTINGS
Celebrate Earth Month with your little ones by digging into what plants need to grow healthy and strong. Enjoy planting your own seedlings to take home with you.

APRIL 29, MIAMI BEACH TURTLE FEST, 11am -2pm
Celebrate the start of the Sea Turtle nesting season. This exciting event brings together the local community to honor these magnificent creatures and raise awareness about conserving their homes and our environment.



Experience a day filled with fun and educational activities for the whole family. Meet sea turtle experts, learn about their habitats and migration patterns, and discover ways to help protect them for future generations. Enjoy delicious food and drinks from local vendors while soaking up the sun and taking in the beautiful views. You can also participate in beach cleanups, craft activities, games, and more!
