BILL BAGGS CAPE FLORIDA STATE PARK
anyday
Celebrate the old-fashion way and discover your backyard. Head to a local "key" for a day at the historic Bill Baggs Cape Florida State
Park in Key Biscayne, with a lighthouse built in 1825 (reconstructed in 1846) that is
the oldest standing building in Miami-Dade County. Spend Earth Day
swimming and picnicking on more than a mile of sandy white beaches. You
can bike,
kayak, fish, take a guided tour of the lighthouse and the lighthouse
keeper’s cottage or enjoy a meal at one of the two restaurants,
Lighthouse Café and Boater’s Grill.
