ASSASSINS AT LIMELIGHT THEATRE
Spend an evening with the infamous during a performance of Assassins at Limelight Theatre. This twisted musical by Sondheim plays out as a murderous carnival game featuring various characters who have all attempted to assassinate a U.S. President. Show times are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $20 for students and active military. MURDER MYSTERY DINNER THEATER
Experience the first theater on St. Augustine's St. George Street since a terrible fire destroyed the Genovar Opera House in 1914. 28th Annual GREEK LANDING DAY CELEBRATION
Celebrate the 243rd anniversary of the arrival of the first colony of Greeks in North America. Hundreds of Greeks, Menorcans and Corsicans arrived in St. Augustine on June 26, 1768 and went on to establish the New Smyrna Colony. St. Photios Shrine serves as a memorial to those Greek colonists by witnessing the Orthodox Faith and promoting the Hellenic culture. From 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, visit the "Glendi" for a celebration of music, food and dancing. Admission is free. ST. AUGUSTINE MUSIC FESTIVAL
Don't miss the 2011 edition of the St. Augustine Music Festival! Musicians from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, along with many guest artists, offer FREE classical concerts at the Cathedral Basilica. EVENING OF VAUDEVILLE AT FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH PARK
Join Artbreakers, a local charity that provides assistance for cancer patients, for a unique evening of entertainment. This exciting show features local performers saluting the era and genre of Vaudeville and a special classic rock concert featuring Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Terry Sylvester of the Hollies. BROADWAY REVIEW
Come to The Pioneer Barn at Old Florida Museum for a special Broadway Review performed by the students at the St. Augustine Community School of Performing Arts. GUIDED BEACH WALK AT GUANA PRESERVE
Join GTM Research Reserve Volunteers Rick and Roz Edwards for this "Beaches 101" experience; an informative and fun walk and learn about the sand, the importance of the dunes, and the animals that call the beach their home. The walk departs from the Guana South Beach Parking Lot, approximately 2 miles north of the Guana Preserve main entrance on A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach. The walk is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. and reservations are required. Admission is $3 parking fee. Be sure to dress for the weather conditions and bring water. LOW TIDE BIKE RIDE AT ANASTASIA STATE PARK
Get a great cardio workout on one of the most awesome beaches in Florida. The ride begins at 10 a.m. and consists of a 3 ½ mile loop that includes an ecology talk at the point of Conch Island. Bring at least one pint of water, bicycle, snack, binoculars, and sunscreen. Bike rentals will be available. Admission to the park is $8 per vehicle, up to 8 people, $4 for single occupant admission, and $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists. BATTLE OF BLOODY MOSE 271st ANNIVERSARY
This exciting re-enactment commemorates the 271st anniversary of the 1740 Battle of "Bloody Moosa" which forced the British to retreat from Spanish Florida. The settlement of Gracia Real de Santa Teresa de Mose, the First Free Black Settlement in North America, was home for hundreds of free blacks who escaped slavery from the English Colonies to the north. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. living history demonstrations, guided tours, food vendors, and music will be provided. Then, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. the Spanish and British forces will reenact the "Bloody Moosa" battle. The event is weather permitting. It all takes place at Fort Mose State Park located at 15 Fort Mose Trail in St. Augustine. Admission is $2 per person. UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT
From 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month, experience live music, refreshments, new exhibits, book signings and much more at the galleries, antique stores and unique shops on St. Augustine's San Marco Avenue between Ripley's Museum and the Mission Nombre de Dios. PLATTERS, COASTERS, DRIFTERS AND TEMPTATIONS SALUTE
