Biltmore Hotel

Easter Brunch is all about the food and the view and the setting. A glorious day deserves equally glorious blue skies and shimmering water that sparkles like diamonds.  Here are my picks for best places for brunch.

Biltmore Hotel (for luxury Mediterranean setting and to be seen)

The 1200 Courtyard Grill at the Biltmore is the most talked-about brunch in South Florida. The luxury hotel known for its fabulous golf course and exquisite spa puts out a great spread; it’s the place to be seen on Sunday mornings in Coral Gables. (1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables, 305-445-8066).

Level 25 (for elevated view)

Located within the Conrad Miami, Level 25 offers a panoramic view on the 25th floor of the Biscayne Bay and passing yachts and boats. This downtown location offers a traditional brunch every Sunday from 11:30 until 2:30. In addition to the typical carving stations, omelet bar and pasta, you’ll be treated to unlimited Bloody Marys and mimosas. (1395 Brickell Avenue, Miami, 305-503-6529).

Rusty Pelican (for on-the-water view)

Not too pricey and not too casual, Rusty Pelican is one of my favorite spots for lunch or dinner.  Known around Miami for fantastic seafood and a great view, the Rusty Pelican is a great place to visit for Sunday brunch. Frankly, you’ll probably spend more time staring out the window at the beautiful views of downtown Miami than eating your food! (3201 Rickenbacker Causeway, Key Biscayne, 305-361-3818)
