Party for the Planet at Zoo Miami
April 21 & 22, 11am - 4pm

To celebrate Earth Day at ZooMiami, the Tropical Flowering Tree Society will be hosting the world’s largest flowering tree annual plant show and sale. There will also be fun “green” activities and entertainment for the entire family as well as animal enrichment with recycled items and/or natural materials like newspapers, cardboard tubes, bamboo, old tires, fire hoses & more. Earth Day Celebration at the Barnacle
April 22, 2012 11am-4pm
Celebrate all things green at The Barnacle. Booths will feature green businesses and local environmental groups. There will be environmental activities for the kids. Bring your own picnic, or buy burgers, hot dogs, and veggie dogs here. Acoustic music will be provided by Florida Historian-in-Song Grant Livingston between noon and 3 pm. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden offers free admission on Monday, April 23, as part of its Earth Day celebration. There’s also a membership special that day; save half on these types of new memberships: Dual, Family, Grandparents, Family and Friends and Sustaining.
